What's the secret to bouncing back?
Neuroplasticity - you can bounce back
It's scientifically proven that the two most vital ingredients to managing change successfully in life are your thoughts and your attitude.
These two ingredients are vital to recovery and returning to work. These are choices you can make. You can't control circumstances but you can choose how you respond to them.
Through my own recovery, I realised the saying "your brain is plastic" is so true! You can rewire your thinking, and in turn reboot unhelpful beliefs about yourself you may have picked up in your time out.
You can reframe your thinking.
And unlearn unhelpful habits
'"Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response.
In our response lies our growth and freedom"
Victor Frankl, Holocaust Survivor
"Man's Search for Meaning"
Learn how to shift your thoughts and perception and your actions and behaviours will change. You then develop greater resilience. And it's easier to bounce back.
Negative thinking can be reframed. This in turn shifts your emotions and ultimately changes your actions and behaviours. And you can also rewire how your brain processes chronic, physical pain.
These are the core fundamentals to CBT and NLP which is incorporated as part of our coaching programmes if required .
